This review is obviously beyond late but who cares. I'm gearing up for the return to Red Rocks in September/October. This was the first night at RR and my absolute favorite show from the band of any that I've seen. So many people have said how great Sat night was, and yes it was great! But, there was something about this show that made it special beyond any other. Everything was right, it was cool with the wind blowing up the slope but there was a vibe that made the place magical. The show was perfect for me, but the standout moment was Phil playing Mountains of the Moon with the wind blowing at his back and the wind carrying the sound up the mountain face. I will never forget that moment and it pulls something out of me every time I listen to this show. If you can possibly make it in September I hope to see you there!

Great nite. Great recording. The second set Friday nite is ALL TIME CLASSIC!! I know this may sound like hyperbole, but give it a listen if you weren't there!!!

My first time at Red Rocks, hopefully, not my last. Everything need has already been said but I love the new blood - Chimenti, Russo, Kadlecik, the back-up singers, all add so much to the signiture tunes. From the lilting Truckin' to the powerful Jus LIke Tom Thumb's Blues, I was rocking out the whole time. Nice recording. Go FURTHUR (~):-}

Never saw the Dead before and this blew my mind. It was still going crazy when it was over and they shined the lights for us to get out. Thank you man with the liberty bell tabs... fucking gnarly man

Subject: Finally Got My Rocks Off!
Have wanted to go to Red Rocks for 24 years and just never made it while Jerry was alive. I am so glad that I jumped on the chance this time. What a beautiful place and what fantastic music! I have seen Furthur four times now, and there is obviously something about the venue that inspires the boys. Eyes > Fire is as good as anything I saw in over 100 shows with the Fat Man. Some critics say Jerry must be turning over in his grave, I think he is dancing!

Super mellow crowd last night in morrison, yet the fellas and the place was rockin and in the right mood. The wind blew and moon rose high above the stage. Stellar casey jones the end is fantastic, highlights are obviously MOTM > estimated > eyes > FOTM. Bob on death dont have no mercy was surprisingly wonderful too.
